SOMOS helped facilitate the creation of the Bahia Ballena Chamber of Commerce and Tourism in partnership with the private sector, which today is a duly registered and functioning organization.

It was initially made up of 25 local businesses.

Most recently, the Chamber of Commerce and Tourism officialized the Tourism Destination Plan in collaboration with the Costa Rica Tourism Institute and the Municipality of Osa.
