Supporting the formalization of Sports Non-Profit Goals 4 Chicas
Goals 4 Chicas was created because of the enormous interest in soccer, and the need for girls' activities in the local community that focuses on building their confidence and health. Using their knowledge, skills, and network SOMOS helped create and duly register the Goals 4 Chicas organization.

Using our knowledge, skills, and resources the SOMOS Foundation helps start-ups and early-stage organizations at different developmental phases with the support and resources that those young organizations find difficult to access.
The support might involve access to networks, investors/donors, and mentors, alongside other organizations and experienced professionals.

Incubating the Bahia Ballena Alliance of Community Organizations
During and after COVID-19 the SOMOS Foundation helped facilitate the creation of an alliance amongst 13 community-based organizations. During a 6 month phase, SOMOS helped develop a strategic plan, convened 3 in-person workshops, and made 1 strategic communications video.

SOMOS helped facilitate the creation of the Bahia Ballena Chamber of Commerce and Tourism in partnership with the private sector, which today is a duly registered and functioning organization.

Developing a Natural Disaster & Emergency Relief Organization
SOMOS’ efforts and resources were largely directed toward mitigating the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in the communities within Costa Ballena. The short-term response was to provide food security through emergency aid and assistance. That transitioned into working alongside community organizations to incubate the creation of the Costa Ballena Disaster Relief Group, that is now a duly registered and fully functioning nonprofit organization.
