During and after COVID-19 the SOMOS Foundation helped facilitate the creation of an alliance amongst 13 community-based organizations.

During a 6 month phase, SOMOS helped develop a strategic plan, convened 3 in-person workshops, and made 1 strategic communications video.

In collaboration with the local town council (ADI Uvita), SOMOS managed the formalization of the Alliance of Organizations with bylaws which were agreed upon by all 13 member organizations at that time.

Finally, working together with the Municipality of Osa and National Park Services, the Bahia Ballena Alliance of Community Organizations reshaped a legislative bill for the creation of a Trust Fund for the Marino Ballena National Park.
